Tx3 Solutions has introduced the usage of Microsoft's latest Business Intelligence reporting tool, Reporting Services, as the integrated reporting engine for its suite of OfficeConnect products.
As organisations face the increasingly difficult challenge of proliferating data across applications, systems and desktops, Tx3 Solutions has incorporated Reporting Services as its central browser-based reporting engine. This extends BI capabilities to organisations of all types and sizes, and makes it easier to get the right information to the right people, in virtually any business environment.
The strategic addition or Reporting Services increases the depth and breadth of reporting and performance management capabilities, and inherently adds scheduling, formatting and interoperability.
"It's no longer acceptable to wait weeks, days or even hours for reports and performance information to be collated and delivered. Through the usage of Reporting Services, clients are provided with extensive reporting capabilities for Tx3 OfficeConnect, and just as importantly, the ability to compile information from virtually any other system and data source. By interactively compiling and delivering information, this puts the power to manage where it's needed most, at the manager's fingertips." says Matthew Scherba of Tx3 Solutions.
He goes further to say: "Add to this the .NET platform standardisation, and clients also inherently receive a clear migration path for a robust future-proof solution for managing performance across the organisation. Probably the most attractive feature of Reporting Services for clients is that it's freely available as an add-on to SQL Sever 2000. This provides a low-cost strategic solution that can easily adapt to any IT ecosystem."
Tx3 Solutions has chosen to work closely with Microsoft in order to provide organisational standardisation and coherency, in an ever-changing IT-centric business environment.
